My Story
Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan! *What would you do with an extra $100 a week or $1000 a month? *If you could use or represent a fragrance product that is completely safe and fabulous would you want to? *If you could travel anywhere in the world, All Expenses Paid, where would you go? Would it be Disney World? Boston? Hawaii? Cancun? Punta Cana Resort - Dominican Republic? All of this and more is possible with Scentsy! So how did this happen to me?? While working a craft show in November of 2006, trying to make a little extra money each month to pay bills, I was very sad that I wasn’t even going to make back my booth rent of $20! (Much less pay the light bill!) God put a lady in the booth next to me…she was the only vendor who was super busy! People were walking away from her booth with bags of funny lamps that melted wax and smelled wonderful! Sitting there next to her…I had plenty of time to think about how busy she was. (God does have a sense of humor!) So, I asked her for a catalog. There was the proof right in front of me that Scentsy was a great product AND an amazing business opportunity. Still, having worked for another direct sales cosmetics company for 18 years and struggling to make sales and recruit, I was extremely skeptical… ;-) It took me two months to finally sign up as an Independent Scentsy Consultant and I have never regretted it! Scentsy and a few wonderful piano students are my sole source of income now. Here’s my path to success so far (and I can’t wait to see what is in store for us!): *Joined in January 2007 *Received 5 promotions and Earned Director in August 2008 *Promoted to Star Director in October 2009 *Promoted to SuperStar Director in Nov 2012 What a fun time too! I’ve earned trips to Hawaii 2010, Boston 2010, Disney World 2011, Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic 2012, Annual Sales award 2010- 2013, CanDO Scentsations #2 in sales 2011. Scentsy’s amazing conventions are unbelievable!
